Gates & Approval

A gate is what a run has to clear before it counts as done — including, sometimes, you.

What a gate checks

gate.md defines the pass/fail/pending criteria a run must clear. A run that fails its gate doesn't get folded into the loop's evidence.

Where approval lives

For irreversible actions, the gate is also where human approval sits — the loop pauses and waits for you before the agent can proceed.
