Explore vs. Exploit Mode

Every run either tests something new or doubles down on something proven.

Explore

Tries a lever that hasn't been proven yet, to find out if it moves the north star.

Exploit

Repeats a lever that's already proven, to keep collecting the gain.

The lever portfolio

Every lever moves through candidate → proven → retired as its runs accumulate evidence. Explore mode is what tests candidates; exploit mode is what a proven lever earns.
